Welcome to Mrs. Mitchell's 6th Grade English Website
Welcome to the El Dorado Springs Middle School, 6th grade English web site. This web site is designed to inspire students, inform parents, and enhance learning. Our class is an eMINTS (Enhancing Missouri's Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies) classroom. Students use a variety of technology to increase learning. We have laptops for each student, printers, a scanner, a SmartBoard, digital camera and internet. The eMINTS program encourages an inquiry-based approach to learning in which students are guided to make discoveries in learning as opposed to sitting and listening to the teacher lecture. These lesson activities are all connected to the Missouri Show-Me Standards and Grade Level Expectations
